Description
The canonical St. Gereon was a martyred soldier who had his head chopped off. In the usual perverse way of saints, this makes him the patron in charge of migraine headaches (you invoke him to ward them off.)I still don't know what this thing is, but I think its head hurts.

Reminds me of those hairless moles. I saw some at the San Diego zoo once...I couldn't believe my eyes, they're weird little critters. Nice pic though! =]

This is really well done. The background texture and the shading is brilliant. Also, the folds of skin you have grasped in his hands... the wrinkles and folds are perfect. Not to mention the fact that the entire thing is just disturbingly adorable. He does look like he's suffering a migraine. I am a chronic migraine sufferer and I often find myself grabbing and yanking on the skin around my eyes, so it's very well depicted. Good job.
