Fairly flat, and looks a little overexposed...also I think it's better to be having more contrast between the exposure on the face and the rest of the figure.

Hmm...it is overexposed - but that's exactly how I wanted it. I don't view it as flat...I quite like it, but that's just me.

Well whether or not you like it, flat is referring to the lack of contrast...or lack of light ratio across the figure. Technically speaking, it looks 1:1. Like an on-camera flash, and usually that results in a "snapshot" looking image.

I'm well aware of the standard concepts and rules of photography and film that go all the way back to early paintings - but thank you for your input. I definitely don't want you to think that I'm not grateful or happy with critical responses. On the contrary, I love when people challenge my work, my ideas, and my concepts. I'm simply stating that this is what I attempted to do, and in that matter, I accomplished. Others may not like it, but I created it for me. Wow, I'm rambling.
