Description
Pencil drawing done in my residential construction class (instead of taking real notes!
)... I scanned it and coloured in Photoshop it to see if I remembered how to use a WACOM tablet!! 
Its supposed to be a lil listening station like you see in music stores... I wonder what's she's listening to?Mechanical Pencil and Photoshop CS2

I think I like these sorts of pictures best... They give me a Studio Ghibli feel, and make me pretty happy.

Record listening stations... now that would be awesome. Where in Kyoto was this?
Audio Technica cans would be nice though, the headphones they put on those little stations over here tend to be pretty average.

I believe it was along Tera Machi St. It was on the block opposite from one of the entry ways to Kyoto's giant pedestrian mall. The shop its self is actually below grade. There are steps down into a little entry zone and then back into the skinny but deep space that is the record shop. They seemed to stock a lot of really eclectic and funky music there... a lot of european imports and such.
My favorite record shop in Japan though, was the one in Shibuya Tokyo! They specialized in techno/house/electronica... and it was all on vinyl! It was pretty big, two full floors. One floor for the techno, and the other for various other genres!

I had to buy an extra travel bag/backpack in Japan to bring back all the stuff I bought there... and heck, I really didn't buy all that much! *should have bought more*
