wow!
What an interesting world .The force of water , life and creation intertwining with the soul of this girl and then transforming further into birds....
the colours , the shades, the forms...
really amazing!

I really like this one a lot! First of all I think your style is really awesome. Very vibrant colours, which make the painting very pure and almost childlike. I also love the movement in it. The contrast between sharp lines and fading colours (without lines) is what makes it so attractive to me. You just keep looking at it, and you won't get bored, because there is always something new you hadn't noticed before. For example, the spot near her hand could also be an eye she's holding... And all those spots, they almost suggest that it's raining colours...

What I recognize in it is a paradox. The paradox of being bound to your roots, yet at the same time being free like the birds. There is no clear distinction between this being bound and being free. The girl arises out of her roots, but then 'somewhere' she becomes the birds. That somewhere is not a clear somewhere, as if you could put your finger on it, saying: there it is. It's more like a process, which just takes place. Despite of (or maybe even thanks to) living this paradox the girl looks very balanced. She almost looks like some goddess, or the first human on earth...

Thank you And I feel that way too. I do not think I fully understand it so I just keep staring at it too, lol~
The picture is absolutely a paradox. A paradox of things never ending that don't necessarily come from each other. And I have been pretty inspired by Greek Gods and Goddesses lately, and she was definitely one of the results. With her I believe it was more of a Calypso, Persephone, and definitely a Pandora sort of thing And kind of a transition of winter to spring and spring to summer piece too. It is a lot of things.

Thank you very much, it took me a little to think of what I wanted, lol. The person I was doing this commission for said "suprise me!" so I only had colors to run on lol
