Quite cute. It'd be nice if the cats actually brought the little girl dancing here back to life and reunite her with her friends and family. She's quite adorable and happy looking, I want to hug her.

Very cute! You should consider making the cats into two-tailed Nekomata. In Japanese mythology Nekomata have the power to dance on a recently deseased person to reanimate them to distress and confuse the living.

It's a Japanese myth but that doesn't mean it could only happen in Japan, lol. And it's not really a zombie, it's more of a controlled reanimation. It doesn't really have the same connotations.
I just think it would add another layer to the art and is a logical connection.

I haven't seen that one, but I will check it out! I love Yokai and the history behind them. The whole concept of the Yokai war was based on losing old Japan due to the influx of American guns and steam engines after the forced opening of their docks in 1853!
