Instead of Trample and/or reach, maybe make him return to hand on death, or at least give him Unearth. Fitting properties for being a ghoul imo.

That, right there, is every Boros player's dream. I know it's fitting of his character, but Double Strike, Reach, and Trample don't entirely fit his colors. Maybe that's just me, though. He might be better in Jund colors. O.o

I guess I'm still getting the hang of what effects go with which colors.

This is just me here, but I think he'd make a nice R/B/G that gives protection from white.
