This took me weeks. WEEKS. I haven't had the time for anything else. I sketch at work and then I stay up past my bedtime to work on this picture for like, half an hour. I've just scored a second job, so art might just have to be put on hold, as depressing as that is to say. Eh, I'll make a journal about it when I'm in a better mood or something.

Has anyone played this game? It threw me off at first with its constant repetition and ANNOYING monsters. But I've stuck with it (lol, like, for fifteen minutes everyday) and I've discovered there are layers to the story! You don't get it all in one shot, and I thought that made the replay value spectacular~

This picture is based off the first ending I saw. I've seen three more since then, and this picture is no longer valid to the storyline I've uncovered. But I had already sketched it, so I thought I'd stick it out to the end. Next, I wanna draw Protag. owo

So, basic explanation: the Protagonist (blue hair) wakes up in a barren wasteland in front of a tower. A man with wings appears to him and calls himself the Archangel, and tells the Protagonist that he carries a huge, horrifying sin. In order to cleanse his sin, and to save the world at the same time, the Protagonist has to go through the Neuro Tower down to the lowest levels where he must kill the Absolute God, who's gone insane, and is believed to be the cause behind the destruction of the world.

Pretty interesting basis, right? Well, a lot of people (including myself) were turned off by the fact that you have to keep diving into the tower. That's all you do in the game, conquer the tower. And when you reach the bottom, you have to begin from the beginning--level one, none of your items, from the top. Oh believe me, it's frustrating. But once you find certain things that help you preserve items you find to use upon your reincarnation, it's a breeze. But, you have to fulfill very specific requirements in order to get all the endings. And it is absolutely impossible to get all the endings in one complete playthrough. Wickedly challenging, but you've got to have patience, because you're going to die, A LOT.
