Oooh, very nice. There's a lot of pictures starting to appear of Magnus looking really young, and this is probably my favourite of them. It's a look that suits him, I think. I love the Egyptian theme and the ostentation of the jewelled armour, and the symbols around his missing eye. Or IS it missing?
This is totally the shard of him that represents his vanity.

Thank you, you are completely right. I wanted to draw Magnus before the Heresy. I really love the Legion of the Thousand Sons, their craving for knowledge and ingenious minds. And every time it hurts me to think about what has become of them. Although when I think about Ahriman, it's easier for me XD Thank you for feedback!

Apologies for dredging up a dead comment, but I had to ask - has anyone else spotted the absurd irony of whining about 'reference pictures' for a character who can canonically change his form at will? Magnus can take the form of pretty much anything he wants, including ones that give people gay panic, apparently.

Dude you are aware that 40k isn't real and the whole point of art and being invested in something is that you can then interpret something in a different way. I thing this piece isn't what I had in mind for Magnus, I personally imagine him a bit... chunkier.
But this is the Artists interpretation. YOu may not like it and you're more than welcome to and in fact nobody would care if you did or didn't like it, that's the point.
But seriously calling the artist a #$%* is pathetic. Don't insult people because they have a different interpretation from you. State you don't personally like it and maybe why and then move on. Anything else is being a #$%* to use your words...
