Never met a lesbian, or at least I'm not aware if I did, but I've nearly decided that if you're past your 40s and have been married more than once, you're a bitter man-hater. I've only met one woman in that description who wasn't. The rest nagged me to never date, and you wouldn't believe all the nasty stuff I heard when I was engaged. =/

I'd encourage you not to make such a broad generalization on the basis of having informally observed such a small sample group. Consider that you haven't meant anywhere near one percent of the women on this planet; or in your country, for that matter.

You're right. The fact that you've met (thank you for pointing out my grammatical error) such a small portion of the population is not relevant to what you initially expressed.
However, "I've nearly decided that if you're past your 40s and have been married more than once, you're a bitter man-hater" does implicitly refer to all women who meet the description you've given. I'd put forth a similar argument with reference to the group described.
