Description We're gonna need a bigger truck.....

Armie

Length: 60 meters

Weight: 80000 tons

BIO

"There were two of them. One was a massive Gila Monster, and the other a giant, and I mean MASSIVE, Armadillo. The two weren't fighting each other. Rather they were hissing up at the opposing cliff side, where 3 men dressed in overalls, and they were using an elephant gun on them. I swear I've never seen bigger idiots since, unless..." she said with a wry smile, "you count Nick. He actually was so enthused at the sight of the two creatures, he ran forward towards them, trying to stop the 'big game hunters' from firing. But, the creatures, annoyed to aggression, tried to attack him. Big idiot, he was knocked over by the force of their footsteps, Monique and the rest of us unable to make it in time. But then, just when aaall hope seemed lost.... well....

Zilla appeared, leaping the vast expanse to save his 'father.' The two creatures were considerably smaller than the big lizard, and the Gila monster ran into a tunnel for cover. The armadillo, however, had no intention of fleeing.

Meanwhile, the redneck hunters up there were in absolute awe of Zilla. They then proceeded to attempt to shoot him, a fact Zilla did not like. He let loose a shrieking cry, and a spray similiar to a blowtorch's shot out of his mouth. I never saw the first Zilla up close, so I never heard anything about the ability, and it frightened me. Even more so, it frightened the hunters. They fled in their trucks, Zilla full intent on chasing them. With ease, it scaled the massive cliff walls, leaving us to the mercy of the Armadillo.

But, it just kind of stood there, watching the rock wall where Zilla just stood moments before. I wasn't sure what he was doing, but then... He charged the cliff, barging into it with all his massive might. Only for it to get buried in a rock slide. We weren't sure how to react, even Randy.

But, there we were, monsterless and clueless. Monique and the truck driver then spoke up, debriefing us a little bit on the situation. They told us that Zilla was the fault of who they represented, but now there was a bigger issue at hand, which was inspired heavily by 'who they represented.' There were monsters like the ones we saw in this canyon, and in a few other spots, and that we were asked by someone Nick knew to help. They said they would explain more later, and we were told to head back to the truck. Nick, in his scientific curiosity, rushed over to investigate a footprint left by the armadillo. And I rushed along with him. I'm a biologist, after all, and the giant desert fauna intrigued me. But, it seems the rock slide weakened the earth below us. We fell a bit, and I blacked out."

Abilities

-Dense shell, perhaps the hardest of any monster

-Can coil up in a ball and roll in excess of 30 mph, terrain permitting

-Not that bright, but very stubborn

(another note: If you read down to here, congrats. Armie is another great idea I had that fit perfectly into the story. He, like Gila, is from a Godzilla childrens book, with little visual representation. It took a bit to come up with a good design, let me tell you. But, I'm proud of the way he turned out. I got some help from a friend in his appearance, and I really am happy with the way he turned out. Keep on readin'!" -j-

I'm afraid I'm a bit too busy to take requests, but I probably will be in a while if you're willing to wait. Can't make any guarantees though.

Really? There's so little info on him on the net, I didn't know that at all... had I, I would have gone in a different direction and used Gopher.

Thanks, though there are a few reasons I didn't use those two. One, I never intended to use every monster, just pull enough from each medium kaiju have been portrayed in out to be considered a homage. Two, I needed interesting, catching names, not just "giant (insert species name here)" and Armie, Gila, and Chuck, (Yellowback, Sasori, and Rattler are in here too.) fit the bill, especially considering the fact that Godzilla the Series had a giant Armadillo, a giant Gila Monster, and so on, and I needed a rodent for King Cobra to prey on, so Chuck (I had no idea of it being a lizard) was thrown in too.

I may draw the two of them some day soon, maybe in the Lost Monster files I've got planned. Glad you liked them

It seems I neglected to mention that here, but I did know that beforehand. Armie and Gila sound better than just 'giant such n' such', though, you gotta admit.
