Well, relatively mighty to the likes of Lopin and those two that follow him. (Never got their names.)

That ring of what are probably artifact finds around Val Salia is interesting. I wonder if that's due to search patterns or the actual distribution of ze zhings. If it's the latter it looks like Val Salia was where something either crashed or exploded (or possibly both, especially since Yinglets were involved somehow).

I'd be tempted to feel sorry for Brakka, but remembering what he was going to do Kass before Elim stepped in, I can't help but see this as richly deserved Karma

Well, looks to me Brakka is barely conscious.
At the same time it looks like he's in a brothel where interspecies sex happens.
Brakka is going to have a hard time being dominated. 😏

Ohhhh Myyyyyyy.....
Brakka....is probably... in some as yet undamaged corner of his brain, probably wondering what he did tto deserve this fate. Genuinely since I suspect the party of his Brain responsible for remembering that stuff is still rattling around from the impacts. Plural because you know those two hit a 'few' bumps when dragging him...and I am just going to also assume there where stairs involved in that trip as well.

They're my favourite scratchy furry cavie, although ferrets are a close second. Almost all of the guineas I've owned have had a massive personality as well, which I really wasn't expecting!

'Lucky' is more of a relative thing, really -- it's a sliding scale rather than one particular state of being. Brakka's somewhere between 'lucky to not be impaled on a pike' and 'lucky to be concussed enough to not fully realize how much pain he's in', I think.

Of course there's an underground market for human-yinglet sex-work. Why wouldn't there be?

Humans are curious
Yinglets are adventurous.
Both have horny males.
It wasn't a question of 'If?', or even 'When?", but 'How many?'

Most diseases have a hard time crossing the species barrier, unless they have a high mutation rate. There's probably not a huge risk.
Probably.
