Personally I prefer yanderes and yangires(I think they are closer to me in personality), a yandere may be crazy but atleast if a yandere loves you, he/she can make you feel loved. In real life I only get stressed and nervous if I'm around a Tsundere type.

Well it falls into "moe" so of course a lot of creators use it like a tool, whether it's cliched or not. It's precisely the reason of creating the archetype, hence the supportive stamps ovo

The only Tsunderes I truely hate are Kaname Chidori from FMP and Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina. It took some time to tolerate Sakura Haruno, and Inuyasha usually asks for it when Kagome sits him.
