A bit of fan art for the severely unappreciated and underrated PSP game series 'Rengoku' the 2nd game in the series has since become one of my most favourite games of all time because of it's level of artistic integrity unique concept and story line, and for proving that most reviewers are simpletons

basically if you liked movies like Casshern and manga like Blame! then you should give at least the second game a play through

the story is about a race of robots named A.D.A.M 'Autonomous Duelling Armed Machine' created for the sole purpose of waging war.
They where unique in that they were constructed from a unique metalloid substance called 'elixir skin' which when programmed could morph into virtually any weapon imaginable.
They eventually ended a centuries long machine war and an age of peace dawned, however with no war left for the machines to fight what was to become of them?

the humans built gargantuan towered called the 'Rengoku' towers or 'towers of purgatory' where the robots would battled endlessly in a futile attempt to reach the top. the humans bored of peace would watch the magnificent machines battle.

however further centuries pass and unknowest to the A.D.A.M mankind died out

you play as one of these robots, named 'GRAM' but he is unique he has somehow, spontaneously developed and ego who struggles to grasp the concept of existence and now seeks to escape the confines of purgatory
