[edit] Made the head smaller, along with a few other things that were bothering me. .w.I was in a bit of a pickle because I liked the side better facing to the right, but I accidentally put his hair on the wrong side, so I had to go with this one. x: I need to pay more attention when I flip the canvas. lol

I did the same mistake with big head when I was younger. Then something clicked in my brain and started to draw it properly. I don't know why, though. :'D

I think for me though, I just have no knowledge of anatomy so I keep making the body smaller than it really is. :'D

There's a lot of various poses drawings on the internet. You can always use them if you have trouble with anatomy.

To be honest the head is still too big, try to compare it to his torso. Size of the head in your art should be about half of the torso width. Also hand looks a little bit off.
On the other hand the colors are nice, I really like the mix of darker colors in the foreground and ligter in the background. It makes your character pop out on the picture.
Also background looks cool and soothing. I hope you understood something from babble. Have a nice day!

The funny part is that head size was originally worse. Just imagine that glorious bobblehead LOL
