It's more how Kurloz apparently having no problem with manipulating Meulin horribly isn't being seen as a bad thing by the fandom at the moment than your art. Just wondering why you shipped it, with that in mind. The art itself is pretty good, in my opinion.

it is awful that he does that, true. but it seems that the trolls all treat eachother violently to some degree, like theres no such thing as just showin love, theres gotta be some negative to it. and also i love kurloz's character design, so i find any excuse to draw him :3

...that's a bit more than just treating each other violently. I haven't seen manipulation treated as something normal or as something wanted by the manipulated in a flushed romance. Look at Tavros and Vriska -- Vriska manipulated him in her very forward flushed actions, and it was shown as a very negative thing even within the confines of troll society. Just because people have done bad things in relationships in canon doesn't mean troll society promotes that; it seems to do the opposite.
For the record, I do ship Kurloz and Meulin -- but only how they were before Kurloz went off the deep end.
