Edit: I redid some aspects of this painting that were really bothering me. Background is mostly redone, and Sanguinius' face didn't really seem fitting before. Also some general polishing. Thanks to Technorakel for helpful feedback.Oh hey, I forgot to upload this xD Fun. Anyway, did this after reading one of the recent Horus Heresy novels (Or rather audiobooking it. I has no time for books)

You sir are............ AWESOME!!! Love the way you draw them so badass! The only i read horus heresy novels because of the primarchs. The way you draw Sanguinius and Horus makes me awe in my screen. Then again sir you are AWESOME!!!!

It's readable, with a nice composition and a cool color palette that's used quite efficiently considering its small range of hues, and the lighting seems fairly consistent, but I have to point out that the shapes lack sharpness and dynamism, and that the textures are rendered very similarly despite the use of filters.Β
I don't know if you're trying to develop a signature style by sticking to a single approach of coloring but so far it looks like a bit of a hindrance.

Hmmn. Well, that's not criticism I've received before, but I can see what you mean, especially in this piece. If I was going to redo it now (I did this bit less than a half year ago) I'd probably change some stuff up. I'm pretty bothered by some of the background stuff.

You mean the wall and the banners? Yeah they look a bit rushed. Either rushed or over-rendered, depending on whether you wanted them to be readable or complementary in the composition.Β
