Description
So Jayne Mansfield is personally more of an influence to me than any other American icon from the 60's. That's not to say I don't love the other top contenders.
Jayne has a picture where she is in a pool surrounded by a bunch of dollys. I took the idea and modernized it. The photographer and I had such a difficult time doing this. I normally wouldn't discuss set complications but this was just too funny... not while it was happening though
*It was hot, 110 degrees outside and 90!degrees in the water, and the dolls didn't want to stay next to me. We ended up tying the girls together with fishing line. The glare off the water was a nightmare until 1.5 hours later. I kept floating away(being in a pool on a floaty) so the photographer's lighting was hard to keep consistant. BUT we figured out all the kinks and got some great shots. Well worth the headache.

Oh, and the photographer and I drew all the bikinis on the dolls with a sharpie. LOL
