Astrid is my favorite character of the entire series, plus I do know some stuff on mythology of other cultures...so yeah Long story short: Astrid rules ^_^ she'd make a good Athena.

Well, she's an EXCELLENT character! (lots of character growth!)
I'm a mythology nut! Just haven't gotten to read up fully on most of them

I definitely agree. That's why I like her more than Hiccup, simply how human she is in the series, like Stoick. People change.
