Description
These are wild lorikeets that come to our garden each day. They always bring their new family to meet us. Here, one of the young ones is telling Mum she's hungry

Yes, we are lucky to have them here. I think they think that they are lucky too as they get served breakfast every day and bring the kids too

If I were blessed with having them for visitors I think I'd be getting to know them, hopefully personally, through feeding them each day.... try to train them, perhaps. ... Kind of like having a pet - without the hassle of having to take care of it.

Yes, they do get to know you. Some of them will hop on your hand if you hold it out with food in it. They aren't noisy all of the time, only if another bird invades what they see as their territory, ie the feeding tables that we have set up for them

Oh wow, "feeding tables"; yes, I can see how that might be looked upon as a 'threat'; thus, a source of "noise".
