Er, sorry, wrote that out of context. Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks surprised me - in a good way - with having fan-art in its credits, and this colorization (or something) is really cool.

Lunchie is the artist that the lines came from. I retraced and colored them from the credits of the Rainbow Rocks movie. I linked the artist's twitter in the description.

Commissioned, eh? *Sigh* It's a shame that fan-made art and stories always seem to be more interesting than the official stuff. I'm so "on the fence" about Rainbow Rocks, that I'm calling it a mixed bag. I am very glad that the background ponies get a chance to shine, especially Vinyl Scratch.
What really got me shocked was the "Under our spell" montage, where Lyra and Bon-Bon are strangling Derpy! That's low, man! (in a good, plot-wise way)

Strangling Derpy? I thought they were holding her back to prevent her from attacking Bulk Biceps. But yeah, the pieces were done by a fan artist, but Hasbro paid for them to be made. I just took the time on my own to trace and color them because at the time, there weren't any good versions up from the cam ripped versions of Rainbow Rocks.
