Description This was a Christmas present for ~JediKnight64 . YAY the first painting I have ever finished! Woooo!

Should this be in the Mixed Media category? It was made with oils and... sharpies... lol
The colors are a bit off, sorry, bad photo.

Strategically placed plants! Okay all the plants are poisonous... foxglove, black hellebore, wolf's bane, arnica, deadly nightshade, white bryony, meadow saffron, hemlock, lily-of-the-valley, jimson weed, henbane, poke root and I threw in some chrysanthemums.

That hair is freaking AMAZING! I seriously don't believe I've ever seen Ivy with such long hair, but I looove it. Quite the poisonus Rapunzel.
I also love the way you used flowers instead of the plain ivy we all see in deviations of her.

thank you! i've been on a poison ivy kick lately aaaand, i just wanted to do something that was clearly my style and not someone else's. the original sketch had her hair more as vines that went up and framed the piece... i kind of regret not doing that lol

oh my god my eyes! O_O this is so gorgeous!

i love the colors, that dominant blue-green alongside the yellows and oranges is just awesome.
she has a beautiful face. really great work man, the flower style is so pretty and perfect.
