XD Don't take this the wrong way, but her big, Dax-style eyes really stick out next to all the other detailed textures in the picture. It just kind of makes me laugh... heeheehee...
But yeah, very nice work! The chair looks very good (although the box behind seems to have a different perspective... but it is a sketch, right?). I really do like all the different textures and stuff, like her jeans and the floor etc.

hmmm, the eyes are something that I've been trying to figure out for a while now. When I draw cartoonish pictures, I tend to make eyes rediculously round and big, but when I try to copy something "realistically" I reduce the eyes' size, but still manage to make them stand out more than anything else. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but normal eyes usually just seem boring to me. I mean when you look at a manga that has pictures of people drawn very acurately to actual proportions and proper folds on their clothing, backgrounds drawn very anatomically correct to real life counterparts, yadiyada ect. it looks fine...even though there's usually a head on top of each character with a chin that's far too pointy or a cheek that sticks out too much with roughly square shaped eyes containing details that one doesn't usually find in an actual human eye. My point is that I wonder how they get away with it o.O ?? But yeah, maybe I should figure out a better way of drawing faces when I do things realistically. But thanks, I'm glad you still like it and it's many...textures (bwahahahahahaa....). btw: the box isn't supposed to be parallel to the walls or anything, so it's vanishin point is different I think.

XD
Well anyway, yeah, stylization is way more difficult than it looks. Like comics. People think that it's a lazy way of drawing things but... well, you get the idea. Basically, I sympathize with what you're sayin'.

Haha, for some reason the title makes me laugh. I think that this is one of yoyur most impressive works so far. You drew this relativerly quickly, and I love the detail that you added. All the stitching and the floor and chair and cushion really bring the piece together. And she looks so cute in your style! You've gotten good at drawing people!

Very nice; I can see why you're such a good sculptor now. Your concept of space and proportion are fantastic! *_*
