Which version of CDArt Display are you using for Windows 7? I've tried both CAD 1.0 and 2b5 and I think 1.0 worked for a bit but now neither will work... really annoying. Just curious as to which you're using.
Would love to use this skin.

First off:
I really love the cover transition, it looks awesome and pretty cool.
I also like the idea of a skin that fits natively to the Vista/Seven GUI a lot. The skin really looks like a default Vista/Seven app
And even though I don't rate my music (I love all of my songs 
Now let's come to the part with things I don't like:
Don't worry, there's not much, I don't like 
I'm just not a fan of the way the text elements are displayed. In my opinion, it takes up too much space. Maybe you can integrate all those elements into the main case, decrease the font size and make a substyle out of it.
But that is just a matter of personal taste, so don't worry about it

ah, finally, something that is small and fits on my screen without being to much of a bother, most of the other CAD designs are too bulky, but this one is perfect

yes, i very much like your first ever CAD skin.
the cover transitions are perfect and i also like the effect for the cover when the mouse enters the case area.
very well done, Ryan.
what i don't like is the lyrics displayed on the cover.
for various reasons actually.
one reason would be that if some lyrics would be shown on a rather bright (or even plain white) cover, then it's simply impossible to read them.
another reason is more on the technical side.
since you've set the main toolbar to appear on mouseover, there happens to be some kinda struggle between that toolbar and the lyrics about who actually "deserves" the focus for what's underneath the mouse pointer.
the way it is now, it is not possible for me to access the toolbar to maybe jump to the next/prev track as long as the current song would have some lyrics that are displayed over the case.
btw...
...i found out why the ratings are acting so weird.
well, i've noticed that you have used some barely visible background on your rating graphics, which is fine actually (although you might wanna give it a 1% opacity only [in PS] in order to further decrease the background visibility), but the problem is, that the mouseover graphics for the ratings have to be created without any detectable background at all.
so, if you'd make the mouseover rating graphics to only have visible (or mouse-detectable) pixels over the according rating (2over, 4over, 6over etc) then the bug should be fixed.
i think i could have described that more easily.

Hmm, you're right about the lyrics... & also about the toolbar.
I shall work on the lyrics later, and the toolbar... I think I'll make the lyrics area smaller, above the toolbar

It was quite too buggy from unknown reasons, decided to release the skin without it. I shall include it in an update when I fix it
