thanks for noticing the sky! the image itself looked so much like a painting, that i wanted to add just that little bit of texture to the sky to really give that impression!!

Lovely It looks like a painting and could pass for something you could put up on your walls or even a postcard. Postcards...ever thought of making that a line of work? Anyway, back to the piece: It makes me want to experience nature in all its raw beauty. And it makes me wish I didn't live in the city with all the pollution and all the people running back and forth and all the noise coming from the construction site next to my condo unit Absolutely lovely!!

thanks so much!! i live in the city too, pretty much.....unfortunately...and even though we do have trees lining our streets, the local teenagers just toss litter around everywhere and so any chance of a pretty view are pretty much ruined by their ignorance....but this photo was taken on my way home from work...i work at a university, and we've at least got some nice grounds on campus...so i'm not totally devoid of nature!

Actually, there are some pretty interesing sights to photograph in this city, like the construction site, for one I'm sure I could get some interesting shots from there with all the concrete and unpainted walls. Plus, there's this mall a few blocks away from my house with a beautiful zen garden. I wish I had a camera so I could show you

ohhh...yeah, both sound like they would be great places to photograph!!!! perhaps with your first big paying graphics job you can purchase a digital camera! i'd love to see your world over there!
