yes, that's very true.....and i was just saying to someone else that there is a paved path only a couple of feet to the right of this path.....but it's so much nicer to go the natural route!

i wanna walk throug there, i wanna touch the tops of that grass, i want to rip one of the stalks and put it between my teeth like Huck Finn, i wanna get soaked in that oncoming storm, i wanna leave my footprints on that track ..

i wonder how many people have wandered that path! funny thing is, not even 2 feet to the right, is a paved path.......but it's much nicer to walk through the grass.....it just feels so much more natural...

on the Camino de Santiago, there's hundreds of kilometres of pilgrim path than parallel some major league highways, so while the path you're on is beautiful, the path three metres over there is like an entire other world (this probably doesn't connect very well with your reply, but i just thought i'd say it anyway).
