As always I love it when we get new Crystal pony designs. I also like the fact that Starlight Glimmer seems to feature in every other episode. It is a good balance.Related content

I love how the Crystal ponies look too
I wish the show would explain how they turn crystal... sometimes they are always crystal... and other times they are randomly not, just before becoming crystal again... HOW DOES THIS WORK? AUGH!

If I was to hasten a guess I'd say it could be all down to the emotion of the empire as a whole which causes the level 3 pony form(full Crystal). In games ponies play the empire was excited at the chance to host the equestria games and it cause them all to crystal up. Then during the whole Equestria games they had the joy of the games.

Ah, that does make sense... except in Flurry Heart's Crystalling they were all excited but not crystal... *sigh*
Okay, I seriously think the writers at Hasbro should at least try to explain THAT to us... hmmm...oh well. Your explanation does make a lot of sense, though... I guess I'll have to make up some kind of theory that explains it all... hmmm... man, Kingdom Hearts makes more sense than this.

I've been shipping these two since Sunburst was first revealed in the season 5 finale, and even more so after the season 6 premiere.
Seriously, I haven't been this much of a hardcore shipper since my days in the Pokemon fandom.
