I think Trixie became a stage magician after seeing her father perform. She hopes to one day that she'll be skilled enough to fulfill her dream of performing alongside her dad as part of a father-daughter stage magician duo, although she secretly hides the fact that she feels inadequate compared to her him.

Trixie's mother is from comic and Trixie's father is from film.
This is why i love MLP comic and i don't know why some people say MLP comic is bad and MLP show is good but i really love both because MLP comic has interesting story and beautiful story.Some people hate MLP comic just like they hate Flash Sentry,Starlight Glimmer and Radiant Hope but for me,i like them as characters because they look interesting and have a good story role.

The Trixie that at least some of the show's producers say isn't Trixie because Trixie didn't go to that school, but most people assume she just didn't graduate. Also, Jack Pot and his partner were originally from one of the blurbs of a Trixie toy, which is so hilariously obscure that it's kind of amazing that anybody who works for the show actually knew about it.

Well, I'm sure you can see the uncanny resemblance between Trixie and Jackpot (the male blue unicorn). He's pretty much an older, male version of Trixie.

I wonder if Trixie will ever indeed be able to meet her parents. The father is likely to be met in the show and comics, but sadly the mother is likely to only be met in the comics. It's a shame, really.

I think the mother is official from the comics. However, it's not established that the stallion is canonically her father. People are only drawing parallels because of his design being so similar to Trixie's.
