Alberta, MajesticThis is a conceptual piece highlighting some of the things that make Alberta one of the worlds greatest places to live.
Alberta is rich in natural resources. These resources help to drive its economy, which is still fairly solid despite today's economic situation. The landscapes are beautiful, broken up by new, clean, green bustling metropolises.
I tried to demonstrate many of these features throughout this piece while maintaining a progressive surrealist quality.
The monolith is in the shape of Alberta, with little features therein highlighting the things that make it so awesome.
And as always, find the man in the top hat and then help him find his dog.

Simple, yet very expressive. I think it really brings out exactly what you wanted it to.
The only thing I find slightly disconcerting is that in the hole where the man with the top hat is standing, it doesn't seem angled enough to me. It might just be me, though.
