Winter Wonderland*FULL VIEW RECOMMENDED*
Putting to use my painting, photo manipulation, and 3d skills, I wanted to make a fun fantasy environment with a winter theme based on an abstract 3d render.
You've really got to view the full size in order to appreciate all of the little details that give this piece its whimsical prowess.
I threw a few things in here to complicate the mood of the image a bit (ie: a desecrated Statue of Libery, underlying themes of isolation, warm, encompassing glows coming from the homes, etc.) all with the intent to force each viewer into forming their own interpretation of what they think they should be feeling from viewing this.
I've actually longed to do a winter piece for a couple of years now, and I learned a number of techniques that will assist me for the next time I create one. STAY TUNED!

There's so much here for the eyes to feast upon. First thing that caught my eye is Madam Liberty sinking in the snow. Sad sight but as the I move up, a smile starts forming on my face. It's a positive ascension up to the heavens. Maybe unintentionally u're saying, when something goes bad, something good will come out of it. That is if one is looking at the piece from bottom to top. The other way round & things end up looking grim. I choose to look up!
The recurring man-lost-his dog scenario, that's a great signature.

I choose to look up too, though that's a very different and unique interpretation to what I was thinking when I made it. I'm glad my art can inspire so many different thoughts and ideas

I used to draw micro-worlds when I was a little kid. Used to be my favorite thing to do, and then for some reason, I just stopped. So its nice to get back into it in a more sophisticated and high tech way. Though Crayons are still pretty rad!

Wow, this is really cool! Love the idea, maybe try and blend elements like the statue of liberty more smoothly into the snow and move the text down a little for composition's sake. But really great!
