I love this piece. Although maybe some more black would be nice. But whatever it's really cool.

No you're right, a bit more black would also be more in keeping with my other ones, but again it's nice to have a deviation to my usual stylee..

It all seems to accumulate in the middle. It seems you have nice control! I like the combination of thick and thin lines.

I wasn't happy with this at first, but now I've started on the next I realise it was because I was rushing it - the next is slow, careful, precise and detailed !!

I'm great! I've recently gotten addicted to Warhammer for PC, the Dark Crusade expansion pack, so it's eating my soul....
How have you been holding up?

I'm trying to channel some of the cleanliness that you acheive into my own stuff at the moment...how do you manage that on the train?! I tried drawing on the train once and it was awful -- sleeping's a far better use of my journey lol
Looking forward to this epicthat you keep mentioning -- keep us posted.

It's difficult to be fair, lots of erasing (which my friend told me secifically not to do, and instead incorporate mistakes in)
Sleeping is cool but bad for you on the train, makes you feel sleepy through the day!!
Damn, it'll be around 2 months before I finish it - I'm 2/3's done but this is going to be very precise..

Yeah...but pens are immediate and relatively clean. Whenever I use pencials for anything I get really scribbly and messy, which is good in some ways, but not really what I want to acheive.

This is very true, you don't get smudge with pens (so long as you're not stupid and put your hands all over the page)
I don't like pens that bleed, it ruins my fine line work..

I use permanent fineliners -- unless you're really something 'special' they'll never smudge, and they'll keep their intensity because they're light-fast, too.
