7 x 10 cold-press; watercolors.

Here I a used a variation of the classic three color Zorn Palette of Daniel Smith’s Payne’s Gray, Schmincke Horadam Aquarell’s Cadmium Red Middle and Yellow Raw Ochre.

I worked differently this time and mapped out all the deepest values first with the Payne’s Gray, which seemed to have worked well here with these opaque pigments.
