Made in MS PAint (with a mouse).This has to bo one of my favorite pics of Alucard i've done in a while... I just love the way the coat is flowing, the dynamicness, the shading, everything seems just right to me, and one of the very few i really dont pick apart (i have a horrible habit if critiquing myself). I really love this one.
The idea was inspired that, in the whole Hellsing manga, you never see Alucard kicking (someone or something). And it was hard since i didnt know how he'd do it, and i'd never really seen a fanart of alucard kicking anything, so im surprised it came out this well... Thank you god! ^^

it hit them in the ear though... And it was bleeding... DO you know how hard it is to bandage an ear? O.o

YES, as a matter of fact, I do. This is because at one point in time, when I was rather young, I hooked one of my earrings on a fork at Thanksgiving dinner. I hadn't notice that I had hooked it, and so pulled my fork down to spear whatever was left on my plate. At the same time, I flipped my hair back- effectively tearing the earring out of my earlobe. Quite painful, as it immediately started bleeding. And to make it worse, it pulled the back of the earring straight through to the front, where it got stuck. So now, I had the back of my earring lodged in the flesh of my ear. Took me an hour and a half to get it out.
And since then, I have never worn an earring in that ear again.

lol wow. epic story. My mom had that happen to her once, but her earring got stuck in her sweater... her ear is still ripped to this day.

lol its basically the same as photoshop, but it takes a lot more patience, and creative problem solving skills. There are tricks to help. Once you get the hang of it its really easy. ^^ It just takes a little more time, and i suggest working in photoshop on one layer to practice. ^^

lol yeah, you can work with a tablet if you find it easier, but i prefer a mouse (not beacuse im poor and cant afford one...) and using a tablet feels awkward to me.

yeah, it rakes a little bit to get used to a mouse, but after a while, it gets so easy, you forget its there at all. ^^
