I was wondering what kind of program do you use for making your visual novels. I've searched on google but some sites don't have what I'm actually looking for.
And I also wanted to ask how you make your drawings. Do you draw on paper(manga), scan the paper, put the drawing on the computer and color it using paint or you draw on paper and color it by yourself?

There are three visual novel programs you can use. Blade Engine was popular but the developers don't update it anymore. The two that the developers still work on are Visualnovelty and RenPy. You can google those. Visualnovelty is more of a drag and drop program with no programming required. Renpy needs a little bit of getting used to but it's more powerful if you put in the time.
For drawing, I used to draw and then scan it. Then I fix the line art and color. Now that I have a tablet, I don't do the scanning method anymore. I do it all digitally.
If you don't have money for art programs, there's free digital painting programs that people use. Gimp is a free popular one. Sai is popular and it's under 60$ or something.
After you get your art program, there's tons of tutorials on DA that you can search for. They're already written so the internet is in your favor.

Sometimes I get frustrated with my art because I can't do something correctly or don't know how to draw it. Your hair and fabric looks DEAD ON in its flowing. To improve (and to improve so WELL!) is, I think, one of the most impressive things an artist can do. This is stunning.

Thanks. It took so long and with my short attention span in producing art, none of my current pieces compare. It is like they're de-evolving. I guess the time spent makes a huge difference. ^.^ looking at this and how I am coloring spruces for the new game, is making me think twice and limiting how much art there will be. More art = less quality, or less art = better quality. 1thing I can say that really helps is having a drawing you love as a reference and for inspiration. The final piece might not be as great, but it will be better than without one.
