dolls can be hard to sell when your first starting out. if your worried about costs it will unfortunately be around 30-60 to get started depending on the quality and amount you get. if you have a large craft store that sells the high fashion fur like I do you can get a hold of scraps that you can use just fine

Well, whatever it is, it's amazing. I'm currently working on a story that takes place in a magical land and I'm trying to come up with creatures that would inhabit this world. So far I came up with a camo bird (a bird that takes on whatever color it's perched upon) and a weaver bug (a praying mantis/spider hybrid that has two needles for pinchers and weaves clothing for people). Silly, I know, but I always look for inspiration. I won't steal your idea, but I love seeing creative creatures!

I'm thinking about trying to make my own character like this soon, as I don't have the money to commission anyone. I've found an answer to all my questions except no one has asked what kind of internal wire you've used-or rather how to shape it?
I assume you twist two pieces into a 'candy-cane' effect-maybe three. Then bend to form spine, add more skeletal pieces. Or am I going about this all wrong?
