Her exhausted form leaned against the tree, white flowers glistening and fluttering gently in the wind, as they littered the base of the tree. "I'm sorry I couldn't bring you anything," Avelina spoke softly to the tree's base, before collapsing at the foot of it, curling up with sunken eyes closing tightly shut. Exhaustion had finally taken over, after a week and a half of no sleep and constant travel. She was in no fit state to continue walking, but she had finally reached her destination.

Nitzie, if you're still there, please give this girl good dreams. She misses you ever so dearly, and remembers her times with you as really her only good memories before life went downhill for her. And still now, she searches for you. Here, she rests at Nitzie's grave, recalling her memories of when she had brought the same white flowers for her deceased friend when she was just a cub at 4 months old.
