Marie is happily married with her husband and is the mother of Rin.

Her husband is the bread winner of the family and is mostly away for work, so she always have been taking care of the house. She takes great care in raising her daughter to be a proper lady that can take care of herself. She knows she can be a bit tough on Rin, but she does it with the best intensions. As she hopes Rin will have a lot more options than she did at the time and doesn't make the same mistakes she did along the way. Still she feels confidant she did, as she is going to a good univeristy at this point.

She is a little lonely at this point with an empty home, but she has happy to see her family doing so well and is trying to find new things to do too.
