I know I have been neglecting my account here recently. I had less time to spare this month.

This moment occurs in something I like to call transactional era. It is a time after they broke the first wall which was standing between them, but do not care for each other yet. They are together because it is beneficial to both of them.

However there is a great interest on the side of Kulia. Scar was a big mystery to her. He rarely spoke about himself and when Kulia asked him, he was quick to change the subject. They were often walking for weeks, just to turn around and go in the complete different direction. Over the hills and rivers, across the desert, it didn't matter, all paths ultimately led to nowhere. It didn't make any sense. Was he looking for something, or did he just aimlessly wandered around?

Kulia was desperate to know more about this man. Scar had agreed not to use violence against her anymore, but Kulia was still afraid. She saw, what he was able to do the others without a blink of an eye. It sent her a clear message. You don't want to face him at his worse!
If only she could read in him like she does that with others. Maybe then she could get under his skin and stay safe, but now she somehow couldn't. There was too much unknown. The only thing she was certain of, is that he was suffering. Although Scar tried to look strong in front of her, she knew that he was feeling a lot of pain. He also didn't sleep much, probably because he was afraid of the nightmares. At first, Kulia was glad for every punch he got, but now, it just didn't feel right anymore. Scar wasn't a saint, nevertheless he didn't treat her as bad how he use to. Sometimes, she even felt sorry for him.
