oh my god i haven't uploaded in so long; there's a lot of catching up to do

So a couple months ago I finally cracked down and began recording Ryoko's APPEND banks. First in line was POWER, which was, regardless of it being a CV bank, kinda painful to record =w=

*cough* anyway, from the very beginning of Ryoko's design, I knew that, just like I was using one of 's designs for her neutral attire, I wanted to use another one of his designs for her power append. The design doesn't change all that much but there is a difference, and I think it suits her quite well... I honestly still really love Kaelius' designs. So beautiful omfg

The thing I like most about this design is that it gives her a little bit more of a Vocaloid vibe without making her into one of those many Vocaloid knockoffs you see in the UTAU community. I seriously can't count how many UTAUloids have been created with designs only /slightly/ different than that of a Vocaloid's; and it's just personal preference, but I feel like it gets to be a bit unoriginal after a while.
So the fact that he'd combined that Vocaloid-y look with her design without making it overpowering as great. Seriously >w<

I drew this concept art like a month ago. And honestly, it might LOOK simple, but it literally took me about nine hours to finish. I'd started with lineart early in the morning and didn't finish the coloring until WAY later in the day. Yep, that was painful too lol

I released her POWER demo last month as well, and I'd intended to release the bank as soon as I finished with the OTO.ini, but literally the day after I finished her oto, my computer died, trapping both her power and soft append banks there. I've got her neutral bank back, thanks to people who had her bank downloaded at the time, but her appends are dead until further notice. I'm not sure how much motivation I've got to rerecord~

Anyway yeah, I've been doing a lot of talking here, and I still have tons of stuff to upload after this. Here's her power demo, btw! I'd re-covered Anti Beat with it and broke the growl function on the UST while I was at it, but hey~ please look into it >w< and subscribe, maybe~?
