How do you draw in 3000x2000 canvases? How big is your screen?

I only have a 19in screen. When I paint, I have the screen at 25% at most. It's just that painting on such a large resolution allows me to print in high quality if I decide to do so. If extra details are necessarily (never in these speed paints), I would have 2 windows open. One at 25%, the other at 100% and do details on the 100% window.

So when you're painting you rarely see the picture as a whole? As in you'd have to keep scrolling your canvas?

Nope. I also have it in full view.

this is wonderful!
the balance of warm and cold colors is interesting and doesnt make it too boring!
and the birds are a nice added detail, though it might have been interesting to see some birds flying "behind" the skyscrapers as well (smaller dots then) ^^

Heh, thanks for pointing that out! I totally forgot I moved the birds (it was painted on layer behind the one of my buildings, but I had moved it to the top when I compressed it). Nice eye! I might go back and recompress the image.
