The subject itself I find really tedious, i can't stand being in semi barron grassy places! It makes me itch thinking about it. But you've managed to make this enchanting. It's definitely the colours, and it works, like cookie said, magically.

I live in an area surrounded by 3 different environments. Mountain tundra, desert and wet lands. It's weird. But I love it. This place is on the border of the desert in about 2 weeks from now it will be green and beautiful. So it is very much an enchanting place.

You comment made me think of a photographic hoax that involved faeries. I can't remember what the time era was, I think it was back in the early 20th century. People really believed the photo was real. It was two children from England and I think either father or uncle who took the photo. Turns out that someone knew something about photo manipulation and did it very well. I think they even made a movie about it.

[link] [link] That is what I found. I had some of the details wrong though. The fairies were cut outs it seems. The movie I was thinking of was "Fairy Tale: A True Story" they mention that in the Wiki article I linked to.
