A whale from the deep blue sea gifted with an angelic operatic voice. In this tragic tale of the Whale who wanted to sing at the Met, Willie is approached by the impresario Tetti-Tatti, who travels out to sea with the intention of rescuing the opera singers he mistakenly believes Willie has swallowed. While Willie serenades his crew, imagining his future of performing at the Metropolitan Opera, Tetti-Tatti ultimately harpoons the innocent whale, killing him and disappointing all those at sea. But fret not, for Willie's singing can be heard in heaven, and all the souls resting above come to hear every performance. Interestingly, Willie has not one, but three voices, each with their own register; Tenor, Baritone and Bass.
