F-I-N-A-L-L-Y! That took forever! It would've probably been done sooner if I was better at line arting by hand and trying not to be soo... perfectionistic... I'm not even at that level. T_TAs is shown, I can do hair and eyes but I'm still getting this 'skin' shading thing down still. Might take a while

Ok, this is the picture that is indeed for my rant... (well, more for my story and doujinshi... >_>'' ) I have a problem with everyone who has to hate against female characters who appear weak or hogging the bishi or what ever reason crazy fangirls these days come up with. I'm tired of hearing "That's my man!!11! > : o" and that angry little drabble crap and bashing thrown at the female that BELONGS in the various series that hangs out with that guy. I find it the more you bash a character (especially a female one) the more you bash the artist who originally created and designed the said character! I mean, WTF PEOPLE!?
For example, people who hate Angie for Trauma Center. I don't get it. Ok, some of you find it annoying that she's yelling at you during surgery but that's her god damned job! HOLY CRAP PEOPLE! IF YOUR JOB IS TO BARK ORDERS, THEN BARK THE FREAKIN' ORDERS! JEEZ FREAKIN' LUIS!!!
I admit though, I used to do this when I was interested with Inuyasha but not anymore! I'm bashing the creator's art when I bash a character! TUT TUT TUT!!!
On another note, a guy in a game or anime or manga can't be "your man" because HE'S NOT REAL! DRAW THAT MARY SUE CUZ THAT SURE AS HELL AIN'T YOU WITH HIM! And the original pairings still remain valid.

really nicely done, I like how you made it, and you're right, a couple in a game (obvious or not) are already in so you can't do anything about it, just live with it. but let me say this: when a person creates a character that in the end gets to be with an original game character, its not neccesarily a Mary sue / Martin Stu (at least to my point of view)

About the rant...
As a fangirl(a normal one, not a rabid one), I'm here to defend the name of the fangirl. I whole heartedly agree with you on the "LYK OMG HE'S MINE" thing, and it's true; they're not real.
But not all of us are rabid.
And even though the characters might not be real, I haven't yet discovered a reason not to fangirl over a bishi or two. Why fangirl over a character? Well, I'm pretty sure real guys aren't as good as the anime ones. Some of us just don't have any real guys to fawn over.

I'm more bashing the fangirls who bash characters because there with there bishi, not the ones that are level headed. I mean, I fangirl over Gaara but I know there's someone for him sooner or later that I hope appears soon.

Ack, I know! I never understood how people go so defensive about bishis. I hate to break your hearts, rabid fangirls, but this 'man' you lurve so much is a drawing. He's not real, never has been, never will be.
All that aside, it annoys me how they bash the canon female love interest of said bishi. You know how people are like, "How dare Angie touch Derek! He's mine!"
Aside from the fact that neither of them exist, I ask all the fangirls that bash Angie and try to take him for their own the following:
Did you give Derek the swift kick in the ass he needed?
Did you support him through countless operations?
Did you believe in him in even the more dire situations?
Did you fight by his side, risking your life as you both infiltrated the emeny's HQ?
I'd say Angie has more than earned her place at Derek's side, but that doesn't matter because *gasp* neither one of them is real peoples! ZOMGWTF!
Ah, that was a good rant. It's nice to get it out of your system, ne?
Now onto the artwork -
You are amazing! Wow, the line art itself was fantastic, but the coloring, shading and highlights are even more fantastic. I rule at adjectives!
Not only that, but the characters' expressions are spot on. I especially love Sela/Maya. She's perfect; so beautiful, sad yet serene. Wow, keep up the great work!
