First, I love the texture of your work. To me, experiencing the texture of a painting is necessary to fully appreciate it. In this case, you give me a lot to absorb! I am curious about the shadows and coloring. Is this photo accurate in coloring? Is this a close-up of a larger work? Regardless, I enjoy it and don't think the "lack of color" is bad. In fact, that makes for less distraction and allows the heavy brushwork to show.
