So I was bored and I was looking around some friend's galleries. And I found 's Dreamcatcher. ([link] ) I gotta tell you, this is the coolest character I've seen. I just love all the legs! And I wondered how such a critter would get around. (some evidence that I think too much) I like looking at frame-by-frame series of animals running, and this sort of turned out. I have no idea if this is actually how an eight-legged canid would run, I think the refs might have skewed it a bit because I was looking at pictures of horses, but whatever. It's just a scroodle for fun, and also a small gift for Kodriak, cause she's fantastic

The paws look great! I think the paper texture was a good choice, it gives it a lot of atmosphere, though Dreamcatcher isn't colored. You did the character sure justice. How long did it took you?

Yeah I like the effect of the texture, but somehow it feels like cheating, you know? It gives really good results for very little effort.
It took me ... approximately 2 hours. That's just an estimate, I never keep track of how long art takes me.

Wow, neat! I love the 'scribbly' effect to it. XD I'm amazed at how people can shade like that and not make it look messy.
The pose is very nicely drawn, and you did a great job of drawing the anatomy, especially the face. o:

Love you artwork! This "traditional media" looks good on this kind of pen drawing and as usual you excel at drawing wolves which makes for a great combo

Yeah it's actually a pen drawing, but I added the texture in photoshop, so don't worry it can be a bit confusing.

You surprised me with this.
You managed to make her many legs actually look like they could possibly be there.
She looks magnificent and her anatomy is perfect. Those eight legs are hard to get in there and make them look functional in the least bit.
I've been trying to figure out how to animate her running. A cross between a wolf and a spider...sheesh, I like to make things complicating. X]
I love the scratchy and sketchy look here. Suits the background excellently too.
I've got to try out some of those paper samples from Hibbary. I love the look of them.
