I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING! I thought it was a dead idea, but nope IT'S REAL!! 
Also, the graphics in the trailer are so wonderful! I don't want to sound like one of those "Graphics are everything" type of people (I'll play any game as long as its graphics are easy to see), but I just can't help pointing that out. :3

A popular excuse I always heard was "Well Psychonauts is so old now...", to which I say "All the more reason to do it sooner!"

Plus, the game has acquired so many more fans over the years. I do think we can all agree that it has more fans now than it did back in 2006 (a year after it first released), so at least we should have both old fans and new fans willing to buy it, which will ultimately do the game some wonder during sales (I'm not expecting a super sales boom like a newly-released Sonic or Super Smash Brothers game would (*crosses fingers that I'll be proven wrong*) but I'm sure as long as they do a much better job with advertising and marketing than they did with the first game (since that's probably the reason it was a flop), they should be able to get at least decent sales).

I certainly hope so too. Even if it can be a bit sketchy, I think Tim Schafer is passionate enough about his characters that he himself is willing to pull through and give us the clever comedic writing that we expect.

I want nothing more then a brand new platform game
and seeing how the promotion video of it shows the holl crew and cast being happy to go back

From what I've seen people have been just as stoked as I am. I've only seen one negative post, and that was about how DoubleFine isn't the best at money management, considering they got 10x the amount they needed for Broken Age and still managed to waste it.

Yes and no. I run an in-character page on facebook, (Milla Vodello the Mental Minx), and I've considered starting another on tumblr if people were to be into that. And I've written some fics here and there. But I usually don't RP with other people, for... reasons.

What was wrong with Broken Age? The game itself or the way it was funded?

The budget was blown I believe,so while the first half was OMG <333 the second half was really underwellming and seemed half finished,leaving a lot of fans disappointed.

I felt like both halves were pretty equal in quality, but I do admit that perception may be a bit skewed. Act Two had a huge jump in difficulty for me, less because the puzzles were actually challenging, but more because the puzzles grew more and more ludicrous. Add on top of all that that this game does not have an in-game hint system, which to me is a huge no-no. Not having one should imply that the puzzles are easy enough for most people to figure out on their own, but this is clearly not the case.

If you want my opinion... she looks like Raz and Lili's daughter. Which isn't a bad thing if that's what she is. But if not, then more inspiration of the design needs to be pulled from elsewhere.

If you're looking for originality for a PN OC, I only suggest losing the goggles. I know that's a really sucky thing to hear, because goggles are friggen awesome. But quite a number of PN OC's too have goggles, which translates to me that Razputin has an amazing character design. Other characters in the Psychonauts universe probably shouldn't also have something as distinct as goggles unless given a really good reason. (Heck, it would be really funny if there were other kids who read the latest issues of True Psychic Tales, and like Raz becoming a nerd about Sasha, other kids becoming nerds of Raz. And then there are admirer's who get goggles. XD )
But anyway, I suggest if you really just want to have a character with goggles, make a new one separate from Psychonauts association and develop their character even further for funzies.
Or don't listen to anything I just said because that's just one persons opinion and you're free to do what makes you happy. I believe in creative freedom.

I do like the rest of her design, actually. The color choices are pleasing, and she's very cute. How a character dresses is dependent on culture, time period, accessibility, and personality. It's kind of ambiguous what time period Psychonauts takes place in... but you could always study the fashion sense of the other campers for ideas. But as far as psychics go, turtle necks and fanned gloves are always gonna be acceptable. XD

Okie doke! Well,I'm glad you like her o3o also,do you think it's cool for her to be into gymnastics? Because I had this thing that she saw acrobats at a circus at a young age (not Raz's circus mind you) and thought they were cool so she started doing gymnastics at like 3. She can't do as much as Raz but she's springy if she needs to be. She mostly just does flips and cartwheels. XP
