Oh yay more pages! I'm actually trying to build up a buffer. Almost succeeding. ^^ Forgive any small shifts in weapon, armor or dragon designs in the near future - it's like I've started 'seeing' things clearer, somehow. It's a weird feeling, but I think it's good.edit. Typical c***-up! Forgot something pretty obvious from the centre panel. Sorry! XD

I've been reading your comics from the beginning and I must say this - your improvement is amazing! Makes me think about starting a comics myself!
And I really like how you've made Nathaniel in the upper right panel - it looks absolutely professional! Keep up the amazing work and I'll keep up reading now

Late reply is late! Thanks for the feedback :33 I have to say that drawing a comic persistently did do wonders to my drawing, though it may have also been influenced by my poring over tutorials a lot... But we'll see how it's now that I haven't really drawn in almost a year. Ugh. XD

it doesn't quite show in this page yet, but I've started working a bit differently with my pages. Basically, last sunday I sketched four new pages on top of the one that's almost finished (and I think it's time to publish that today?), and yesterday I inked one and a half of them. I just realised that if I work on the same phase over several pages, I'll be more comfortable about it than getting one page done from start to finish at once. I guess it's a bit more rewarding too, to see the story unfold to the future a bit - whee!
Anyway, I have an ambitious plan to start updating at least weekly. Having a buffer of ready, or at least almost-ready pages would definitely help. ^^

You know, that's what I've come to realize too. If I do one page from start to finish at once, I get bogged down with all the details and end up taking ages. And it's definitely more rewarding to see some sort of continuation of the story as you're working on it.

Really loving this new colouring scheme! It's been really quite amazing watching your skill mature through these pages. Fantastic detail in the first panel on his face - the shadows and lines really make his features pop.

Aww, thanks! I tried something different there - I haven't much shaded with 'ink' so far. It was definitely interesting to try!
(heh, I sketched the pages 40 through 43 last night - 39 just needs colouring but I'm seeing if I can't build up a buffer and start updating more regularly. Whoo!)

It seems that our heroes have a hard time, which is actually quite autenthic. At least to me all the dragon fights in the game were challenging ones.

That's the thing! And there actually is a talent in the Legion of the Dead tree to attract attention (if I don't remember completely wrong - anyway, she seems like the type to stop an ugly great dragon from grilling Nate, even at the cost of her own hide...)
Yeah, I remember I had HUGE trouble with this fight especially. People kept getting knocked over and overwhelmed and whatnot. I guess that shows. X)
