And the way you manipulated the trees, somehow Adeleide fits in the scenery perfectly

Nicely dark and creaky. The lineart overlay really brings that out. The ghostly who haunts this location couldn't have picked a better place.

Actually 2Lellikki" means more like "a teacher's pet" or in families "the child that is most liked and spoilt".
Suosikki is more comprehensive term, it can be used on any occasion

Hmm, the way I choose my favourites, I guess it could still work but thanks for that! We don't use our words that way in English most of the time, or usually more subtly.

How have you learned Finnish? You got family from/in Finland?

No, from the internet. I know someone who has been learning finnish for a year and he knows some basics...I also used things like the Helsinki website and some finnish children's websites. I must have read "Little Red Riding Hood" in finnish a million times. Sometimes I get mixed up on consonant gradation and I cant do past tense...I've also picked some up from reading people on here.
Doing it online does not ensure using the write terms at the right times though, since the people themselves are detached. In Canada, we're forced to learn french and I spent ten years in school on it and know more swedish, old english and finnish on their own than I do french.

You have real talent. Did you take the photo for it yourself? It looks really good. The trees in foreground really bring the whole image into perspective and add a kind of inner extention to the frame, I like it. Also, thanks for the welcome back on my profile page.

Yes, i took the photo myself. I found this place on my way to work. I had to climb and slide down a muddy hill, but it was worth it. Very beautiful place. Unfortunately that small building, pavillion or what ever it is called in English, isn't in that good shape anymore. It's all muddy and moldy so I had to enhance it a little for the manipulation.

You did a good job on the visual editing. I would do more digital editing on my work, but unfortunately the best program I have to work with is MS paint. I should really get paint shop or an apple lap top with a good visual program. If I'm ever going to get serious about my art I'll probably get the lappy. Although I'm not an art student and don't intend to sell any of my art for money really, so probably not. I might get the book I'm writing published eventually though.

Tää on oikeastikin todella hyvä kuva! Tässä on vähän samanlaista tunnelmaa, kuin Ringissä. Siinä oli saari, joka oli yhtä ankean kaunis kuin tuo kuvakin. Sellainen harmaa ja syksyinen. Eli en tarkoita sen leffan kauhutunnelmaa. ;>

Very nice shot at all, but there are two things I do not like
First: The frame has a too dominant position, so that it detracts a lot from the main motive. A descreeter one would be great.
The next thing I have to critisize are the colors of the frame an the picture itself. The Blackness of the frame and the colors of the trees, espacially in the lower left corner, offer a very dirty and a fairly vague crossing. Maybe you could brighten up the frame or the picture to pull off a explicit delimitation

I think the whiteness of the dress gives her a ghostly appearance. Can't say that's bad.

...this is beautiful lonely place!...i like time of the day there...i mean that grey sky...and light...and all that dead leafs..and muted colours...lovely atmosphere - really looks like there will be mo tomorrow...
