Most comments are always positive on DeviantArt which can be very encouraging, but I think it can also make the artist slightly lazy with progressing forward. I know the value of constructive critique and I will provide some:
I find that the colour palette chosen has potential. I do think that something important is missing in the middle where the eye is drawn instantly because it is close to the horizon and is the part of the painting that has the most light. I am missing some details in the middle, such as the wonderful details you have depicting the flowers on the left hand side. Similarly there's a bit of imbalance in the amount of detail between the lower left and the right hand side of the painting.
To sum up my opinion:Β

- details unequally distributed as if the painting wasn't finished

I wish I had more like those, instead of the ones like "wow", "good" and "nice"Β which shows the lack of patience of those who appreciate the art piece and the person doesn't want to bother himself with fancy critics, but wants to say something positive to please the artist at the same time. In truth, this piece of art here I've done it in a hurry, because I didn't put much thought to it and got tired of doing it since the very beginning. But you are right of course and I may remake this one some day if I feel inclined to it.

I know that feeling when people comment one or two words which are always positive, and how valuable real critiques are on DeviantArt because the vast majority of us, if not all, are still learning no matter how good we already are.
