i loved this battle in the anime.
White is so hard because it is the presence of all color. it might help to have a black layer that is at about 50% opacity. it might help define the white, also start with a light grey and use white for the highlights

Of course! I should have known that! I did study physics which i learned that white reflects ALL colours of the light spectrum! Includeing xrays, gamma rays(i think), ultraviolet and infered rays!.
So the fact that white is in all colours makes sense!! While making that i ended up useing a mid shade of grey who's layer was set to "colour legacy" and used white on another layer set at "screen" (ok that i cant remember
