This is a painting of Benny & Joon movie poster.
And it's Johnny Depp as Sam. This movie is one my favorite movies of Johnny Depp, his acting was just ADORABLE and WONDERFUL. plus i really liked this picture and thought it would be cool to paint it.
Again, I had to scan it 4 times and then put the pieces together, that's why you see some strange lines in some parts of the painting.

I've never drawn this position before! This looks amazing ^^ The proportions are exact and I aboslutley LOVE the texture of the flowers hes holding. I've tried drawing people looking up like this but I've never had a reference so I can't really draw people looking up so well. this must have taken forever to paint!

oh, i love the flowers, nobody mentioned that before!

well, i think it took about 4-5 days! faces are hard to draw!
This was more fun.

I'm surprised no one mentioned ur flowers! It's hard to even draw things with a different type of texture or look to them. Thats a very long time! I usually only spend about 6-10 hours on a whole animation. I usually end up spending that time on it over a period of days but that doesn't really count xD

well I can guess that you like Johnny, if it's true, you definitely have to see this movie. I LOVE this movie. *BIG LOVE* but it's not actually because of the movie itself! it's because Johnny Depp is amazing and his acting is just epic and stunning though he was so young. you have to watch it...

Nicely done! I like the irony that you've gone through the trouble of painting all those paint splotches.
Benny & Joon is undoubtedly one of my favourites among Johnny's movies too.
